| Crime After Katrina |
The lack of moral character and personal responsibility is what has put many of the evacuees in the dire situation they’re in—not the lack of city, state or federal effort or money. Many question the wisdom of borrowing billions of dollars for federal agencies to rebuild a city that lies below sea level and whose inhabitants have historically relied on government aid. Moral poverty is the problem in New Orleans—as well as the rest of our world! The character of people has to change or we will all continue in our sin and crime-ridden societies. |
