AMERICA’S GODLY HERITAGE ON DISPLAY

whitehouseLast December, the new U. S. Capitol Visitors Center officially opened to the public.

Concerned citizens who monitor the content of the hundreds of historical displays in the new Visitors Center found many historical inaccuracies, including much secular anti-religious bias. Also, there were also many missed opportunities to educate others about America's unique religious history.

For example, the Center currently displays the small iron table used by Abraham Lincoln during his Second Inauguration to hold a small glass of water and his Bible; so why not display Lincoln's Bible atop the table originally designed to hold it?

presidentsCapitalizing on President Obama's use of the Lincoln Bible during his own inauguration, Congressman Randy Forbes of Virginia (head of the Congressional Prayer Caucus) has introduced a resolution urging the display of the Lincoln Bible in the Capitol Visitor Center.

That resolution -- H.Con.Res. 34 -- is an excellent way to place more of America's Godly heritage on display for all Americans. Contact your Congressman and ask him or her to co-sponsor House Congressional Resolution Number 34!
